Art Exhibition

As a development of our school mosaic children were given another opportunity to express their thoughts about our school its heritage and environment. Miss Jones teamed up with "Images"(a company who creates exhibitions for schools) to create the schools first Art Exhibition.
Before beginning their work the children experimented with each type of medium (chalk, charcoal, pencil, paint, wax crayon, oil pastel or chalk) to see which they preferred. They then drew onto their canvass in their chosen material. All of the canvasses were collected by Images, mounted, framed and returned to school and exhibited on the 10th June. Lots of parents attended the exhibition and it was a great success. The children then had the opportunity to purchase their framed picture for £5, £1 of which went to school funds.
